You might be inclined to type in the wrong details about yourself, thinking it will help to keep your identity anonymous, but there is no need. Your identity is not revealed simply by typing a few details into a form and clicking on send.

And unless you give the true details about yourself you will not get back a quote that is of any use to you. The quote that comes back will be a good fit for the detail provided, not for you. So should you end up choosing that insurer, you will not end up with that particular insurance policy because there will be further checks and forms to fill in.

Even if you have to give your telephone number for contact purposes, it does not mean that you are under any obligation to purchase from that company, so there is no need to worry.
